I loved both versions, alone the remake won me over. \nThe first Parent Trap, released in 1961, was direct by David Swift and starred Hayley move as the fit. The remake released in 1998, was directed by Nancy Meyers and starred Lindsay Lohan. Both Mills and Lohan were praised and adored for their performances as these 2 spunky and impelled girls. It was different aspects of the movies like the supernumerary effects, humor and overall timbre that made me favor the remake. \nIn both films identical tallys meet at summer camp, unaware of each some others existence. Their identical visual aspect initially creates rivalry between the m which results in prank wars. at last their behavior gets them into trouble and they are punished with living in concert in an isolated confine for the rest of camp.
